Approaching 2014

Happy New Year! I hope it will be an invigorating and challenging – in a good way – time for you all.

Me, I’m looking forward to three long term relationships with clients: iOrchestraCircuit and a new role with Wellcome Collection, advising and assisting with their communications and marketing towards the opening of their extended facilities. It’s always good to have a longer involvement with projects such as these to really understand the clients needs from the inside, to better help them.

I’ve also been working with two great theatre companies for an extended period of time: Kazzum and Theatre Transformations. This role of ‘expert on tap’ as and when they need me is proving an invaluable way of working with smaller companies and smaller budgets.

Then there are the teaching and training sessions: for the Arts Marketing Association, Independent Theatre Council, Government Knowledge and Tate’s Aspire and Circuit projects.

But before all that, I’ll have the pleasure of an afternoon with Marie from the schools programme at The Weill Music Institute, Carnegie HallNew York – to share ideas and expertise on audience development for music.
