Training Russell-Cotes staff to be audience-centred

Issue:

The Russell-Cotes Gallery in Bournemouth are in a period of review and re-focusing, and want to make sure they both understand better who their audiences (and future audiences) are, and how to place those audiences at the centre of their decision-making. With a limited budget, they are seeking to internalise those skills within the staff team.

Response:

I will analyse the current audience data and insights and lead two staff workshops to show them how to interrogate that data and bring their audience segments to life in the real-life context of their gallery. I will then create and lead audience focus groups and mentor the staff to develop those skills for future internal use.

Impact:

The sessions are also intended to act a team-bundling exercises, and I am currently devising the first workshop with team-wide inputs.
